Thank you so plenty to Karen Kelley for all the famous job she does; to Guy Berkebile and the great people of Guy Chemical. It is large to be here in Somerset County, where society of the Commonwealth are moving a great American comeback. Thank you so much. (Applause.) I’m really honored to be with you all and I appreciate — I appreciate that cozy welcome. It’s great to be among so many friends. And while we’re getting started, let me bring reception from a friend of mine. I asked him from wind Force Two, told him I was headed to Pennsylvania to be with all you cheerful people, and I think he sounded just a little bit jealous. (Laughter.) So let me to bring kiss from a man who loves the Keystone State and has been fighting to keep the promises that he made to the people of Pennsylvania for the final three and a half years. I gather reception from the 45th President of the United States of America, President Donald Trump. (Applause.) You know, it really is large to be back in Somerset County, and, please, you check take a seat. It’s large to be back in Somerset County. It’s a end of large families; large businesses, just like this one; famous relatives farms; and I perceive and I say from my heart, having been in Washington, D.C. on that fateful day, now nearly twenty term ago, this is a place where America will forever remember the heroes forged in the skies on Flight 93, and I thank you for this community’s devotion to that critical memorial. (Applause.) You know, on a private level, allow me also say Somerset city is pretty special to the Pence family. I was explaining some of the party here at Guy Chemical earlier, all my kids — one of whom is a Marine, married; another one who’s married to a Navy pilot; another one, who just stopped her schooling — all of them spent every summer for ten years at Summer’s Best Two Weeks. And we just lover Somerset County and the role that it failed on their faith and their upbringing. (Applause.) So thank you all for that. I know so many churches in the region play a critical role in that — that wonderful place, and I hope you’ll give them all regards. And it really is large to be here at Guy Chemical. We just won a travel from your CEO. And I’ll tell you what: It is businessperson like Guy and companies like Guy Chemical that represent the very best of America. This is a end that presumes in hard work, in sacrifice, in loving your neighbor, and you can find it all right here in Somerset County at this large company. (Applause.) Now, it’s fabulous to think of all we accomplished over the latest three and a half years. After fr- — after three anniversary of leadership under President Donald Trump, this economy was booming. And President Trump, as I said, literally kept every promise that he made to the people of Pennsylvania and then some and the results were extraordinary. We chop taxes across the board for working families, businesses, and family farms. This President registered back elder federal limitation already than any President in American history. (Applause.) We wrestled for loose and fair trade. We just moved the current USMCA bargain into law, and we fought for American energy. And we’re a foul exporter of American energy now for the first time in seventy years. (Applause.) And none of that would have been possible without the strong support in our first two years of Republican majorities in the House of Representatives. And I would be lazy today if I didn’t take a moment not just to acknowledge, but to thank a strong, extremist leader in the Congress of the United States who was there every step of the way as we brought this economy all the way back in our first three years. unite me in thanking Congressman John Joyce for all the large work that he does for this state and this nation. (Applause.) Thank you, John. What a great guy. With Congressman Joyce’s support and President Trump’s leadership, the results were amazing. In our first three anniversary alone, businesses huge and narrow created more than eight million jobs. Wages were rising at their fastest pace in nearly 10 years, and they were rising most rapidly for hardworking, blue- collar Americans. In the first three term of this administration, the ignored men and women of America were forgotten no more. That’s what we call dream made and promises kept. (Applause.) Two million Americans were pulled out of poverty. Seven million Americans were pulled off cooking stamps. And we reached the highest median income in the history of this country. And as I mentioned, America run immense step toward energy independence. We are now the number-one producer of oil and easy gas in the world. (Applause.) And I’ll make you a promise: This President is bringing to continue to help policies that allow us to develop all of the resources in this land, and that includes — we’re going to support fracking in Pennsylvania and the thousands of jobs that it supports. (Applause.) Now, the folks of Pennsylvania ask to know that if the other side gets their way, the inevitable is going to look very different. It’s true. I mean, with Joe Biden and the Democratic group — instead of cutting taxes, Joe Biden and the Democratic Party want to raise taxes by $4 trillion. They wish to bury our increase under an avalanche of regulation. And Joe Biden and the Democrats have a $2 trillion strategy to eliminate fossil fuels, including common gas. They want to end fracking — destroy those jobs all across this state and all across this nation. You know, whereas Joe Biden and the Democrats advise process that’ll stifle jobs and wages and energy, President Donald Trump and I are going to fight for a growing America. Less government, lower taxes, less regulation, and more American energy. (Applause.) You know, it really is wonderful — it really is fantastic when you guess about those first three years. Pennsylvania employed a record number of workers, set a record in history, and gained back nearly 20,000 manufacturing jobs. recognize the latest administration? The summer of 2016, the latest President said, when he was invited about bringing back manufacturing jobs and they’d lost hundreds of thousands of jobs in the latest administration — he explained — he said, “What are you going to — what are you going to have, a magic wand? How are you leaving to bring those work back? ” Well, we didn’t wish a magic wand. We just wanted President Donald Trump in the White House; 500,000 building work came roaring back in those first three years. (Applause.) mean revenue risinged in this state by $1,400 dollars and we established more than three hundred Opportunity Zones in Pennsylvania lonely in two hundred and eighty-nine low-income communities. We’re fighting for the opportunities for every American. It’s extraordinary. Hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians were lifted out of poverty.
